Nicole is an 18 year old grrl. Driven and spontaneous she does her best to mask the fragile spirit that lies beneath her tough talk. She's attended more raves than she cares or can remember and has the Special K induced memory lapses to prove it. You might thinks she's timid, but than she'll do something that knocks you on your ass. She's persevered through a lot, but only let's those who she really trusts know her pain.

She's from a small East Coast town, but moved to the city to attend high school. She doesn't hate her existence, but knows there must be something better out there. Her mother has been plagued by mental problems for as long as Nicole can remember and she's never met her pops, so she was pretty much raised by her grandmother. She considers her grandmother her "real" mother. Nicole's persisted through a lot of touchy feely uncles and cousins, but has always dealt with them with a smile. Lately she's been living with one of her cousins, because the schools in the city are better.

Sometimes she is astonished by the power her sexuality affords her and is even a little scared by it. She does know how to use her physical appearance to get what she wants, but at heart she is a girl in the coolest sense of the word and wishes people would just respect her.

She hates the path she sees her life taking and is in search of a route that might lead her to her dreams... but she hasn't quite decided yet what those dreams are. All she knows is she's not happy and she is ready for a change.
